O’Reilly makes a good point, there is too much ambiguity as to what the Tea Party stands for. While everyone has a right to voice their opinion, fringe elements of the movement, who may be more zealous than the average person, could hurt the cause with extreme positions. Whether Sarah wants to admit it or not, she is the closest thing the Tea Party has as a national leader. Since she is quite a proficient wordsmith, I suggest that she might get a consensus among the various factions of the Tea Party and write an article or series of articles explaining the movement, along with some key concepts held by all. This would give the movement more credibility and also serve her well since she could demonstrate that she is an effective leader. Once clearly defined, the Tea Party has a better chance of growing into strong Conservative base for the Republican Party.
