Every time Gov. Palin scores a significant accomplishment, the leftist media spin machine has their hit piece ready to roll. Vanity Fair has a long and proud history of running hit pieces against Gov. Palin, and “Sarah Palin the Sound and the Fury” is the latest in that publication’s line-up.
Back in February 2008, Vogue featured a much different sort of article about Governor Palin. The piece was titled “Altered State” and it highlighted many different elements of the governor’s life, both personal and professional. The beginning of the piece says a lot about who exactly Sarah Palin is as a person, and how the media has changed in regards to their treatment of her since then. The piece starts:
Every single day there is another hit piece against Governor Palin. Attack stories against her are often prepared even before the story they are writing about even happens. At some point Governor Palin becomes immune from those attacks, when even far left journalists are defending her. She is way past that point.
Governor Palin offers her congratulations to Alaska’s newest GOP Senatorial nominee, Joe Miller, and her thanks for Senator Murkowski via Twitter:
On Good Morning America, as reported earlier by Lori Calabrese, Meghan McCain said that Gov. Palin was “not a team player.” Meghan McCain’s credibility is questionable at best since her own father’s campaign fired her.

Later today, President Obama will speak to the American people about Iraq. No doubt he will laud the “end of major combat operations” by the date he randomly selected some 18 months ago. His press secretary Robert Gibbs also gave us a glimpse of what else he might say.
What an honor it was to speak today at the “Restoring Honor” Rally in D.C. The following is the text of my remarks.
